About the attic schoolhouse

I consider myself incredibly fortunate; as a child, my sole aspiration was to become a teacher, and remarkably, I've been able to live out that dream! Since obtaining my bachelor's degree in teaching from WSU in 2003, I've been on a fascinating journey through diverse teaching opportunities. Among them, my absolute favorite has been teaching preschool!

In this dynamic role, I firmly believe that the most crucial learning and developmental growth unfold during these early years. That's why I've poured my passion into crafting a preschool curriculum that revolves around kindergarten standards.

At the attic schoolhouse every activity we embark on in our learning adventures can be intricately linked back to these standards, ensuring that every moment in my preschool class is not just fun but also a meaningful step towards a solid educational foundation!
